"Okay I've got this much of the edge banding glued on. But I've decided to do this a little bit different way now because I have this edge that's poking up. Now you can just go ahead and take your knife and trim it like this right along the edge. But that's a little bit painstaking and takes awhile. And you'll have to sand it so what I've decided to do after I finish trimming this. That's pretty close here. We'll go back over that with a piece of sandpaper after all of this is trimmed. But the different way I've decided to do it is to turn this upside down and put the edge banding on so that the edge banding is flush with the top of the corks. This way you can just push it down and you don't have to trim the top and it's much easier to trim this little excess off the bottom. I should have thought of that but since I have so much sawdust in my brain it slipped my mind."
