Video Transcript

"Making melting made soap has never been simpler using these pre-made soap bases. And before I show you how to cut that up, I'm going to tell you that it's necessary to have a glass measure here. One of the easiest ways to melt your soap is using the microwave. It melts very quickly, and it's the easiest way. And if you'd rather not use a microwave, you can put your glass measure in some boiling water and melt it right on the stovetop. So I'm going to show you here, how these bricks come. This is an avocado cucumber. They come in many different blends of soap, and this here happens to be the creamy avocado, and you can see that they are pre-scored into once ounce cubes and there's 32 ounces in this brick here. And really all you need is a good cutting board and a sharp knife and it almost cuts as smooth as butter. Just following the marks, and depending on what recipe or what size mold you're using, is how many pieces you'll cut up. So I'm going to cut a few pieces here and add them to my measuring cup. And there I have eight ounces, and we're going to just pop that in the microwave and it will melt in about thirty seconds. You check it every ten seconds or so. Alright, we're almost there, I can tell that it's got a good creamy look to it. We'll check it and see if there are any more lumps, and it looks good. And that is how simple it is to melt your soap base. Now all you need is some color and some fragrance and any special herbal additives, and we'll get ready to mold our soap. "
