"A big key to success in establishing your band, is developing a strong fan base. Fans are those who support your music and love to come to see all your shows, possibly help out with promoting your band, and are there to give you moral support. This is great because it encourages band members in bands to keep doing what they're doing. Fans can do a lot of different things for band. One example a group of fans have done for a band is started an online radio website for them. This radio website is run completely by fans and has music from live shows playing 24 hours. Let's tune in. While we're doing this, another thing that they have done is set up different merchandise for the band. These are fan based merchandise. Another thing that fans do is set up forums to talk about the different things that their bands can do."
