"In your band it's really important to learn about signing contracts. Contracts are used for many different reasons. You can find contracts between band members, this comes through an agreement on who's playing which instruments, what roles each of the band members will take, and to talk about how long the band will stay together, and maybe possible goals that the band wants to do. Contracts that you can find as an example are used online. There are many websites that have places where you can buy different types of contracts. Another type of contract which is commonly used is a contract between the band and management. Here's an example of a contract that I have used when I was managing a previous band. This lays out the terms, the services that we are going to be giving them, the authority we have as managers and other miscellaneous things. It requires signatures from the members of management and all of the members of the band."
