"Now we're ready to mix our paint. You can pretty much use any color you want. For these jeans, I stayed with the sort of tattoo theme. I'm going to do the black. Now, I'm going to go over a part here. It's roughly stenciled on here, and I'm just going to sort of go over it. However, if I was mixing a colored paint, then I would want to mix enough to have extra. This is so important, because if you mix a color that you love and you run out half way through, you're never going to be able to rematch the color. I always like to mix more, and then have a jar. You can use any glass jar or even a film container to store your extra paint in. Also, if it tends to fade a little bit after 100 washes, you have your color and you can just touch it up. It's really nice to have some extra paint. Mix generously. For me, I'm using black, and there's nothing to mix. I'm just going to get going with the painting."
