"Now we are ready to get our brushes together. Pretty much you want to get smaller brushes. You're probably going to be doing more detailed type stuff. You're definitely going to want some small really detailed brushes like 10 hair brushes. You're probably also going to want more medium size brushes just in case you have some larger areas to cover. You're not going to be spending like a half an hour on them. A little bit of variety. Also, when you're picking out the brushes, do like a little test I like to do. You take the hairs and actually pull on them. Some of the cheaper brushes and some of the synthetic brushes, the hairs will actually pull right out. You don't want that because then it messes up. It falls out and it gets stuck in the paint and messes up your design. Generally, it's kind of a pain in the butt. Try to get some nice brushes and a little bit of variety just so you have a good range for the details and the coverage that you're trying to get."
