"Hi! Welcome to Expert Village. I'm Kristine Mueller and I am back to show you some more painting techniques. Today I'm going to be showing you how to paint your own custom leather belt. This is really cool. I'm also going to be showing you how to make your own custom belt buckle in another segment. This kind of ties together. I started doing this probably about 5 or 6 years ago. People just love it. People stop me whenever I go out wearing these belts and they want to know how I did it. Now you're going to be able to do it for yourself. They also make really great presents for other people. It's so cool. It's one of a kind. It's not something you can buy anywhere. It's your own unique creative piece. I'm going to tell you what you need to get started and we're going to get going. It's pretty easy. You pretty much want to find a belt. What I like is something that has an emboss sort of design in it. That way you've already created something. You can just paint right on and it looks really pretty, or you can find just a flat belt. You can find a design to paint on that, which is a little bit trickier. Today, we're going to use this emboss belt. I've already painted it and I rubbed off a part here so you can see what it looks like before I did it, and then you can see how it looks like after I finished it. Then you're pretty much you're going to need your brushes, your paints, some water, something to cover your table, and something to mix your paint on. That's it. Let's get going. "
