"Hi, my name is Lanie Evans and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm here to show you how to make a family collage, either out of using old family photos or new ones. Take a look at what I'm doing today. What I've done here is I've got an old family photo of my relatives and it was actually found this way, cut up and it didn't really go into a frame very well. Since these lovely ladies are in the night light having a drink, I decided to find something that would be appropriate to go behind it. So I've chosen something like this as a background. Then I cut it out using the back of my frame as a template. I will show you what that looks like once I've assembled it. This will be the final product here for that one. This is one that I get to enjoy because these people were very important to me. So now it looks like they're having great times. Another way to do a family collage or to start one would be to take photos and take lots of photos of your family and if you feel comfortable with them you can cut the photos out of the people and then layer them all together. You can sort it by family, you can sort it by times or vacations or things like that. They make really great keepsakes and actually instead of having them in a box or in an envelop somewhere you have them out and you're looking at the family and you get to have them around at all times. So here is an example of one I started for the family collage. You can take different photographs and layer them together. Now this empty white space you can have, instead of a white background, you can use black or another favorite color to avoid that kind of blank feel or you can just keep layering it on and have tons of faces everywhere."
