"It is very important when you are pulling up the wall of a big bowl is that you learn to use a little bit more than just the fingers. I'm going to try to lean into it and use some more of this. I'm going to push down with my sponge again I'm going to use that lobster claw but I'm not going to take up as much as I did on the smaller pot because it would hurt my thumb a great deal to just grab all of that at once. Round that off okay so that is the first pull which is that lobster claw and you can see how far out this goes. I want to get that in there and start to be able to pull that up. Sometimes you can take to much you are going to get that coming off of it. I'm just going to put a little bit more water on there and go a little bit lighter. I'm also using the thumb on my left hand which I don't normally do on a small bowl and that is fine that a little bit comes up that is going to happen on a big bowl. Drizzle some more water and important for this is if you look at my arm it is not out like that. I am using my body again I'm constantly using my body, there is no way that I could bring this up with just my hands. Okay and I'm just going over that rim a little bit and that is pulling the walls and then I will shape it next. "
