"I'm going to open up the cup and I'm going to pull the wall up and this happens pretty quickly with something this small. Just open it up and I'm leaving it on the bottom there again cause it is going to be that Japanese style teacup. Fingers are going to pull out like this and I'm going to go up a little, I'm going to go back down. I'm going to make that spiral on the bottom of the pot. I think I talked about that in the other series where I push my finger down and come back up and get a spiral going there. I like the way that looks that is a tight spiral if I want I could slow the wheel down a little bit and I can make a very wide spiral. Okay now I'm going to bring this cup up with that lobster claw method and I'm setting the rim and doing everything pretty much at once because this is so small. When you curve this I want you to think about when you are drinking out of a cup you don't want a sharp edge you want it curve and you want it really soft. That as is as much as I want to pull this pot, as much as I want to work it I like to start the shaping now. "
