"I'm going to start centering this clay on the potters wheel I'm just going to wet the bat a little bit, very slightly. Put that down you want to adhere this to the bats I'm going to push down first. Then I'm going to put my elbow on my hip, push forward, put this hand this way and push towards my hand (my left hand). Push down with a karate chop, now I'm centering this for a lidded container it is no different from centering from a cylinder form. "
