"Hi myself Manish Paul and we have a quick special. Today we are going to learn how to cut onions. Now we are going to study the different ways of cutting onions. Let us start with chopping the onion very fine. For this you've got to take the onion just remove the stalk and the roots of the onion. For peeling onions always remember do not remove excesses of skin as this is wastage of your onion. Gently remove the skin. The removed skin is used for preparation of stocks. You can steam the onion in water or sometime hot water adding ice. Now, keep the onion on the cutting board just cut in half first. Place it flat on the cutting board and start slitting it. Always make sure that you don't cut the end part of the onion. Always slit it from the front part. Afterwards, give a vertical cut from the onion. Turnaround the onion and start slicing it. If the onion is big slice it from one part first and from the other next time. You will find a finely chopped onion as a final product."
