"Hello, we're polishing our piece now. This is Marie French, at Expert Village. Now, some people don't like to polish this piece after it's blacked and antiqued. Personally, it gets a little too black, so what I'm going to do here is I'm going to take my polishing cloth; it's called a Fabulustre. Now the one side is actually red rouge, and the second side is like a chamois cloth. So what I usually do is I'll take the piece, and I'll look for where I need to even out the black of the liver of sulfur, and I'll work on kind of squishing that piece of fabric around into the nooks and crannies. So we'll go through to try to make this piece look even or equal on all sides so that we have a good feeling for the way the the piece is going to look on, because this is our finishing touch. This is what really makes the piece. So, we'll go ahead, and we'll use the red rouge, and now we'll go to the chamois cloth, and again, go down the piece, trying to make sure that the the polishing compound; the red rouge is off the piece. We're cleaning off different parts of this chain, which is usually the hardest part to go ahead and clean. Then you have your finished product; enjoy."
