"For the next step I've rerolled my scarf back up into my jelly roll and at this point I'm still doing the squishing and rolling motion. You're getting a good workout here. You're going to tone your upper arms. And at this point you can start squeezing and rolling a little harder because your felt is starting to form your fabric. So you don't have to worry so much about getting holes in your felt when you get to this stage. There should be lots of soap and lots of water. You can see how much I have going on here. So this is a good activity to do outside or over your kitchen sink. Obviously. But if you don't have enough soap and enough water it will not do what it needs to do. The pressure of all the little bubble wrap bubbles. It's all like little fingers working your felt. And the spaces in between the bubbles are actually giving your wool room to wiggle around and get tangled up. So this process has to be pretty gradual. You don't want to skip over and rush this because this is the process that will get your felt to hold together before you go to the next step. There's a way to check and see whether you're ready to do that. So I'll show you how to check and see if your felt is ready to come out of the bubble wrap in the next segment."
