"With the magazine inserted, what I'm going to do in a safe direction with no rounds, I'm going to fire this weapon. This is probably about I would say even more than a 12 pound trigger pull. It'll fire. I'll pretend like it's cycle. If I would have fired, that slide would have went to the rear and came home. The reason why it stopped because there's no rounds in the magazine. That's what caught it, so I had to release it. If you'll notice, I'm still depressing the trigger, and even when I release the trigger the hammer stays to the rear. Now, the first shot was a double action. This here is a single action, so you can tell my hammer is already back, whereas it took me almost 13 pounds of pressure to get it to back and release the first time. Now, it'll take half of that. From this point here, that's my second shot. Release it, you hear the 2 clicks from the trigger. The trigger is now reset. That's the functions test. Now, if I wanted to lock this to the rear just to make sure that my external decocker lever is working. Say if it was loaded and around in the chamber, I'm on target. Oh, you know what? I don't want to shoot. It sends the hammer home, but it does not fire a round. That's working properly, the double action portion is working, and the single action portion. Now, only thing left to check is my magazine release. Magazine release worked. Now, one more thing to check is will my slide stay to the rear when I'm out of ammunition. Absolutely. That's the way it's designed. This is a perfect working weapon at this portion."
