Since the advent of the gun technology has had a huge effect on not only the design but also the features and attributes of the gun. They have become much easier to load and use as well as becoming more powerful and smaller at the same time. The handgun first came into being in the 19th century and since then we have adapted them to what we call semi-automatic. This means that the gun will fire as quickly as we can pull the trigger multiple times. This is a fantastic feature for law enforcement to use in self defense and a great attribute to keep in mind if buying your own handgun as well.
This is a great video series about all the facets of a 9MM handgun. Our expert, Lee Laster, will show you not only all the parts of the gun and how they work but also walks you through the steps of disassembling it, cleaning it, how to reassemble it and even how to fix a jammed round in the chamber all the while teaching gun safety at the same time. It is important to always treat a gun like it is loaded even when you know it is not. By the time you finish this video series you'll know every piece of this weapon and be able to respect it's potential much more!
"Getting into this series here, we're going to talk about a 9mm semi-automatic handgun. The 9mm has been around, was used the wars. Originally was a German round. A firearm that was used during the war. It is very reliable, sturdy. It's used a lot in the military, U.S. militaries as well as other countries. The round is rather smaller than a 40 caliber, but it yet is bigger than a 38. There are some argument that a 9mm round is not effective in certain scenarios and certain instances or circumstances. However, they've been around. They've stood the test of time and they still have their place. Normally, it's home defense, law enforcement, or the military. Again, a very reliable weapon. It has been around. The history of it dates back. The round again is smaller than a 45 or a 40 caliber. However, with the different types of ammunition and technology changing, this firearm still has a place in today's society and is a reliable firearm."

on 8/8/2009 You said you were going to talk about the 9mm Semi Automatic Handgun but the entire video was about the 9mm round. It would appear that you're a lot like all the other "experts" up here on expert village and fail to focus on the subject. You make reaqlly poor instructional videos. Why not leave this material to the real "experts?"
