"Okay so now we're ready to start sewing the body of this jewelry bag to the lining of the jewelry bag. If you'll take a look at the little bag that we have here, there's a top seam on both sides so it looks like I just pinched it together but what I'm actually going to do is I'm going to put the right sides together and I'm going to sew around the edge. And so I'll make it like a sandwich then flip it out and do my top sewing. But before I start sewing I want you to take a look at it. And we need to decide where we're going to leave the opening to flip the bag out. And we don't want to make an opening over here because it would be real difficult to pinch it closed later and close that up. It's way easier to do it on the grain of the fabric as opposed to the bias of the fabric. So I don't want to do it right here where my drawstring is coming out. I think I want to do it over on this side. Like right here. An so I'm just going to make, I'm going to close this back up because I'm just going to lay it right here on top. I'm just going to make, pull it apart and just make, it doesn't really matter how big it is, I just like to have maybe like 6 to 8 inches. And that's 8 inches opening. And so we'll just sew all the way around the edge. But before I do that I'm going to go ahead and pin it. There we go. And it's a really good idea to pin this thing because I need to mark also how far away over here before I actually sew. So we're just getting ready to sew this. We're not really going to sew it yet. I'm just going to prep this fabric. And this kind of fabric is the kind that you really just want to use pins with because it just wants to move all over the place. And see, some of it's hanging out. And that's okay, it's probably just from it not laying real smooth when I cut it out. But we just want to make sure that when we do sew it closed that everything gets tucked in. And since it's round. Like if this were misshapen you would never even be able to tell because the bulk of it is down here. And this is measured perfectly from the casing to the top. And we'll do that too, later. But that makes it look like its perfect. So, if yours is a little odd shaped. Maybe a little egg shaped. Don't even worry about it. It's no big deal. This is one of those projects that if you mess up a little bit you can actually hide it. Okay. There we go. And I think earlier when we measure it it was 1 and 1/4th away in the opening. Oh, that's 1 1/2. I think on the other side it was a little more. Everything is a little bit different on here but that's okay. Yep that was just a 1 1/4th. I think I'm just going to go ahead and make it 1 1/4th. There's no telling how many spots are just a little bit bigger but that's okay. See, you can't even tell on it. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to find those openings over here. I'm going to feel with my finger. I'll even just mark it right here. This is where the top of that casing is. And I want to go 1 1/4th inch away from it. So that way I know when I'm sewing this is how far I need to be, right there, to make my ruffle look right. I'm going to go over here on this side and find it. There it is. Let me find the top with my finger. Okay and then 1 1/4 inch away from there. Okay so now that I have it marked I'm not even going to worry about marking this. I'm just going to go right along the edge of it and make sure that I have both pinched in. But I want to make sure I'm this far away. So why don't we go ahead and get started in the next clip and I'll show you exactly how to sew this down."
