"I am ready to start cutting out some pieces for this little guy. I have decided that I want the body, this body part to be out of the stripy fabric because it is really pretty, it is brilliant. I think it is nice. It is round and it is eighteen inches across and the bowl I have is not eighteen inches. It is probably more like twelve inches. The first thing I am going to do is I am going to just set it down like right in the middle and I am going to go ahead and just trace it all the way around with my chalk. This is the chalk that comes out with heat so I am not worried that it is going to show through on the other side or make a mark. Now that I have my circle template laid out like that I am going to go ahead and measure it. Yes, it is twelve inches. And so I want it to be eighteen so I need to add four inches to each side. And this one, yes, this one is not quite four, but it is close. It looks like three and three eighths or three quarters, but that is okay. I will just do three and three quarters. You can make this any size you want. You can make it real small or you can make it really big. Like if you want to do something that was maybe twenty-four inches all the way across would be a bigger purse. And what you do is if you get a template you can just make it as big as you want. You just kind of mark right here out and then you add however many inches you want to do it. So that way if you just don't have a template that is exactly the size that you want you can make it. There are a couple of more spots over here. And once you get a lot of the marks in it is almost like connecting the dots. You just kind of connect it. And this fabric is real slinky and most likely the fabric that you chose is going to be real slinky too so you just hold it down and mark it. I think I may have got that one a little off. No, I guess I didn't. I am just going to make sure. There we go. Okay, so now that I have this marked the next step is going to be for us to layer the lining with this and we are going to cut it out both at the same time so we can cut them exactly the same size."
