Trimming Extra Fabric From A Coin Purse

"So now that we have all those things sewn on the inside of the coin purse. Before we flip it out through the hole that we made at the beginning. We're going to have to trim all this excess fabric out. I have some pretty heavy scissors to do this because it's a lot of fabric and I'm also cutting through the zipper on the top of it. So I'm just going to go about a quarter of an inch next to my seam here and I'm still catching the initial seam that I had. So, if it gives you a little bit of trouble you just, just kind of cut at it because it's pretty thick. And you can probably use lighter weight fabric, too, where it wouldn't be so difficult. I like the upholstery fabric just because it's so nice and sturdy. So, just like a quarter of an inch away from the chalk line that we had made. And you don't have to be exact. Just don't cut the seam that you made. You'd have to reshape it. You just saw through that zipper. It's kind of tough. Okay, then right at the top. There we go. So now it's real small seamed but it's double stitched so we know it's not going to fray. Then the next step that we are going to do is to flip out the purse to the outside of the coin purse, so."
