"Now we're ready to sew the zipper onto the body of the little coin purse. What we want to do is you have this zipper, or if you just want to buy a premade cut zipper, you can do that also. It doesn't matter either way. I like to use the continuous tape because I can cut them as long as I want. I'm going to turn it face down and I'm going to line it up with the edge of the long piece of the coin. I'm going to just run a seam along the side of one side. Make sure you back tack, and that just locks your stitch in so the zipper doesn't come lose when you're working with it. Now I need to attach it to this side. I want to get this other side of the zipper and bring it over here and put it here. Before I do that, I like to measure just to make sure the zipper coin purse isn't going to be even all the way around. I just line the zipper up with itself up here, run it over here. I see that I might be a little bit off, so I'm just going to make a little mark for myself because I want it to be straight. You can use a ruler to do the same thing, but I found that to be easy. Line it up right with my little chalk marks. There we go. Make sure it's lined up along the side also. Run the same type of seam. Back stitch right here all the way to the end right where the little chalk mark is. Back stitch. Now we're ready to attach the lining to the body and the zipper. Let's get started doing that right quick."
