"Like I told you in the previous clip, what we need to do now is go ahead and serge the lip that we attach to the body of the purse. And this is the seam that's going to turn under and bind it. So what we want to do is just serge along this edge and then we're going to sew along the top of it. So let's just go in there and serge that. And it should be about one inch long. We don't want to cut off any of the fabric; we just want to sew right along the edge. We're almost done with this. So now that we have this seam bound, we know that this isn't going to be fraying on the inside of the purse because that catches it. And what I'm going to show you how to do next is just turn this under. And we're going to pin it first and then top sew it closed. So I'll show you how to do those few last things in the next clip."
