"Now we have the lip sewn on; we have it right where we want the seams, where they all meet at the corners. And we have a little excess to flip it over and close it, but what I want to do now is just go over it and top sew the top of this down, just to make sure that it lays down. And you don't have to pin it or anything, you just have to hold it. So, just go over here, or just anywhere that you want to start. You don't have to start in the corner, because it doesn't matter. Just make sure you pull it away from the body of the bag. So I'm just going to run a little top stitch all the way around the edge of the bag. Here's this one. This just makes it lay real nice and straight when you're ready to close it so you won't have to struggle with it so much to lay it down. This will make it look nice and smooth. There we go. Right when you get around here, it's the same thing, all the fabric is pulled this way. You're just top sewing it here, don't even worry about back stitching or back tacking on those, because they're already anchored down. But you do have to make sure that you back stitch right where you meet up. There we go. And what we're going to do next, is use a serger to serge all this and bind it and close it just like we did on this seam. So I'll show you how to do that in the next clip."
