"So now that we have this bag serged, sewn, that width is going to be seventeen inches, let's start working on the height of the bag. This one is going to be thirteen inches. And I'm going to go ahead and mark thirteen inches from the bottom to the top. And I'm going to show you why in just a second, but let's go ahead and mark this. My ruler's only twelve inches, so I'm going to mark twelve and then add and inch. But that's okay with me, because I don't want a large yardstick for a small job. Let me do it right here on the end too. There we go. And I'm going to run a long chalk mark to each of these dots because this fabric moves around a lot and I want to make sure I get it straight. And we did it on the front and I'm also going to do it on the backside. There's my inch, there's thirteen. There's my thirteen inches and here it is again. There we go... and I'm going to run that chalk mark from each little mark that I made. And then I'm just going to turn it over to make sure the side match. So yeah, it's thirteen inches from the bottom to the top right here. Let me make a think mark right here so I can see for sure exactly where that's at. So now that we have that, our next step is going to be to figure out how much you need to cut off at the top right here to make our lip, and we'll do that in the next clip."
