"My name is Leslie Moselle and I'm from Tampa, Florida. On behalf of Expert Village, this is how to shop for groceries on a budget. Discount stores. As I said before, you're not going to buy all of your items at your local grocery stores. There are some other options when shopping on a budget. For example, there are many stores out there that are focused on sale items like Big Lots, You Save, Save A Lot, or just scratch and dent stores. If you really don't like about the superficial dents and scratches on a box and the items inside are just as good, then you can go to these stores and get sometimes up to half off of the items that you would buy at a normal grocery store. Take a look at those items. There are ads for stores, such as Big Lots, that do have sales items, clearance items that are great buys. This way you buy items, your non-perishable items that could be saved for a long periods of times that you might not be able to find at your regular grocery stores. When shopping on a budget, discount stores are the way to go."
