" Hello! My name is Lindsay on behalf of Expert Village.com. In this clip I am going to be demonstrating how to measure and cut the gimp for the decoration of the pillow. As you can see from the step before, we have finished sewing on the beige strips and the square onto the pillow. We are going to set that aside for right now. We are going to take the gimp and take your measuring tape, and we are going to measure out 15 inches. You can just take your scissors and cut it. You don’t really have to use your pencil. So, measure 15 and cut. We are going to need six strips of 15. We are making these 15 inches because the pillow itself is going to be 14 so we will have an half of an inch on each side to be able to sew. This is my sixth strip. You can line them all up together to make sure they are all the same length. And, they look pretty good."
