Making Pillows: Sewing Your Pillow

" Hello! My name is Lindsay on behalf of Expert Village. Com. In this clip, I am going to be showing you how to sew the beige strips onto the pillow. You are going to take the strip, the side that you marked the pencil on and flip it upside down so that you can’t see the markings. We are going to put one strip in this first space and we are going to put the second strip over here in this second space. We are going to end up putting the square in the last square box where the other two strips are going to go of the gimp. So you are going to take your pillow and this is still the outside of your pillow, and you will take one of the strips and make sure that you put the strip. Where you have the inch on the edge, that is going to be where you are sewing the pillow. So you are going to go the inch and then you should have the square. You are going to make sure that the lining of the beige is on the 1 ½ inch mark for that second square. You are going to put it in the sewing machine, make sure you turn it on and you are going to line it up with the markings you made with your pencil. I am going to use a straight stick for this. When you are done sewing one strip, it is going to look like this. So you can go ahead and sew the other strip on the side and sew the square and that corner right now. "
