" Hello! My name is Lindsay on behalf of Expert Village.com. In this clip, I will be showing you how to make your decorative pattern for the pillow. First I have this beige material. First we are going to take your ruler and the dimensions on this pillow are going to be 12 inches long and 1 ½ inches wide. So from the top we are going to come down and mark 1 ½ inches. You are going to do that all the way across to make sure that you have a straight line. You are going to make sure that the lines meet up and then draw a straight line across. For lengthwise, we are going to want it to be 12 inches long so you mark it at 12 and that is going to be one strip. We are going to need to make 2 of these. We are also going to need to make a beige square and the square is going to be 1 ½ by 1 1/2. So you are going to come to one of the corners if you want and you are going to mark a 1 ½ down and a 1 ½ inches wide. You should have 2 strips 12 inches by 1 ½ inches and one square ½ by ½ inch. We are going to cut these out. "
