"Another way to fold the water bomb base is through squash folds. Fold your paper in half, and fold it in half again to get the guiding creases. Open it back up, and fold it in half rectangularly horizontally. And fold this rectangle in half, into a square. Now, turn the unit over so that the open side is toward you. Taking the top two layers, open it back open it up, all the way up to that point where the the creases intersect, and do a squash fold. Making sure the center crease aligns with the bottom center fold, do a squash fold. Turn the unit to the other side. Lift up the square along its middle axis, like this. Maybe fold it to the other side you so that you have a nice crease there. Lift it up so that it looks like a sundial. Open up the two layers, all the way up to the point where they meet. Squash fold down, making sure the center crease aligns with the central folds beneath. Flatten, and you have your water bomb base. Those are two ways to get your water bomb base."
