How To Decoupage A Box: Gluing The Sides

"Hi! I'm Karen for Expert Village. Now we're going to glue our border down. You want to start in the center. Very, very gently you want to keep this straight. Sometimes it helps to just tack the corners in place a little. Hold it taut and put a little bit of glue there to sort of hold it in place and then work your way. It's gotten a little loose. If you're going to lift it you want to be very, very gentle with it. There we go. Then make sure that anything on the top edge gets folded over so that that's also glued down. I just come over a little bit on the edge, that's fine. Glue the bottom edge. Then go over to the sides. Now I'm going to piece in the missing piece here. You want to wash your hands so that they're not sticking to the napkin as you're handling the napkin. There's a little bit of glue. There's a little bit of the glue right there. You just notch it up. I'm not going to do around the back. I'm going to stop right there so that we have enough border to put on our other side."
