"Hi! I'm Karen for Expert Village. Now I'll show you how to remove the excess napkin off of our decoupage plate. Just first start by cutting into the edge there. Then with a very sharp razor blade Exacto knife, very sharp, we're going to basically scrape off the edge. Just kind of use a downward motion and just scrape off that extra. If you tilt it in a bit so that you're taking it off. You don't want to scrape it from here where we put the decoupage, you want to scrape it and the front. We continue all the way around there. If this one has dried quite a bit, it's almost completely dry, it takes a little bit of scraping. If you do it when it is still slightly damp, it's not as hard to scrape but you can risk pulling a little bit too much off. You can experiment with at one time you want time you want to take your edges off. You just go all the way around the side like this. Just scrape that edge off. We're finishing our scraping here. That last bit off gently. There's our plate. Next, we're going to put a light coating of spray paint on the back"
