"Hi, I am Karina Fraley for Expert Village and showed you how to make a baby blanket and now I am going to show you some quick tricks on how to make matching accessories. And this is actually very easy. If you buy a little extra yardage when you have your fabric cut, you can just use it to make little burping pads and you can make two or three of them and if you package them together with your blanket it is a nice addition to it. These are very simple to make, you just cut out your fabric and you can actually for the back you can use any fabric that you choose. You can also actually use gulf cloth diaper which you can get at any baby store. This one is flannel, this is blue flannel and I am going to show you how to make one very quickly. You basically just cut out your fabric and I use white flannel for my demonstration and you are going to put both right sides together. The right side of the flannel you will be able to tell is a little softer and so that is the side you want to put up against the face of your fabric. You are just going to line it up, you are going to get some pins, pin it up and then we are just going to do a zig-zag stitch all the way around. But you are going to have to remember to leave just a little bit of the edge open because we need to turn it back to the outside."
