Today I am going to be showing you how to make a baby blanket, it is one of the most personalized gifts that you can give a friend if they are having baby and then also it is so easy to make. Yet it will make you look like a superstar, seamstress, even if you have never touched a sewing machine. There are many choices out there for fabrics now days. You can go with traditional pastels, you can go crazy with colors, you can do all kinds of fabrics; there is Chanel, satin, cotton, velvet, just all sorts of things. And there are many ways to find fabric; you can go online, you can go to fabric stores, you can go to the flea markets. It is a lot of fun if you really get into it. And today I am going to be showing you how to make what I call a summer throw. It is a very light fabric; cotton front and flannel back, satin on the back.
