Of course, again, you would do it much quicker but it's not important here. It has to be his own job from the beginning to the end. That will give them a great pleasure. It is also important to sit with your child and help him when he needs it but don't interrupt. He can feel that he is important for you and that you want to play with him. It is like a board game or sitting down to chat and besides all these it will improve his creativity as well. So it is sided issue that will give them good memories. They can look at these pictures and the masks they made by themselves, they will remember that they made it with you."
