How to Answer Questions in Job Interviews

"Hi, I'm Katie Roney on behalf of Expert Village, we are discussing how to have a successful interview as a candidate. You're going to have questions, you should have questions. It shows that you are interested, it shows that you've done your homework and you are already actually doing research on your behalf. Before you get into the interview do lots of reading on the company, write down anything that is interest to you, you may even have a separate sheet of paper of nothing but questions. You probably will have a question and answer time at the end of the interview and it looks very prepared, it looks interested when you have a list ready to go. Also if you have any industry questions you may want to do some market research and say "I noticed that industry has grown but it has grown more in the city, can you talk a little more about that", or I know that your company just merged with another one, can we discuss that a little bit and how it effects this position? That way that they would really know you're thinking about yourself as an employee and how it would effect you and how it would effect your day to day life. If you don't have questions an employer is going to think that well you're not prepared, that doesn't look good. That you're not interested and more than likely that you weren't listening on all during the interview, that is kind of a bad question all together. You definitely want to let them know that you're in this with them and together so be prepared with questions."
