"Hi! I'm Katie Roney on behalf of Expert Village and we are discussing how to have a successful interview as a candidate. When you are in the interview, they are going to want to know what some of your needs are. Not so much your salary or your career driven needs but more the softer thing; health benefits, commute, what is important to you as a person, maybe some personal goals. It is okay to go over this with them if it is practiced and make feel a little informal but it is important. Make sure you are asking questions about benefits, about travel time or about any type of overtime. That is going to something that is going to affect your day to day life. So if you are interviewing for a sales position and there is a lot of travel involved, make sure you ask those questions. Will there be a car allowance? Am I reimbursed for gas? Am I reimbursed for travel and when do I receive the reimbursements. All that is perfectly fine. The most important thing is that you are conveying your own needs to them and they will know what you are looking for and you won't leave them guessing. "
