"Hi I'm Karen for Expert Village. For the bookworm bookmark you would need some of these circle foam cutouts. I have chosen five in varies greens, a tongue depressor this is a craft store type tongue depressor that it has already been painted or colored. You can use plain wooden ones that is fine if that is what they have. I'm going to use a pipe cleaner and some goggly eyes. You also need a marker or a pen to color the face. I like to start with the face and first we would put our antennas in. So if you want to you can bend your pipe cleaners to about how much you would need for your antennas and cut that off there. Then you are going to just push it right through the foam, the wire is strong enough to go through the foam and you just push right through like that and pull it through. Then you can bend the ends, you want to bend the ends anyway because there are little pointy, you see they went right through the foam. You can bend the ends anyway that you like. If you can kind of pinch it and turn it you can get it to curl it a little like that. Okay and then I'm going to draw my eyeglasses and these my goggly eyes and I want to make sure that my eyeglasses are going to be a little bit bigger then the goggly eyes. So you just draw some nice little holes there and put a line for the glasses like that and you can give him a little nose and a little smile. Then just a little dot of glue in each of the glasses. Don't worry about using too much glue cause the glue would dry clear and you won't see it. So even if it looks a little bit messy now it would dry clear we won't see it at all. Elmer's glue is good, craft glue or tacky glue is very good also cause it dries very fast. Elmer's glue takes a little bit longer to dry. Now we are going to do the body and you can just put glue on your tongue depressor like this and we would start with a light one. You can use any color of these foamy things that you want, you don't have to have a green bookworm and you just make that, put as many of those on there as you want and then glue your head on and let that dry.
