Tips for Making a Ribbon Bookmark

"Hi! I'm Karen for Expert Village. Now we want to cut some plastic and insert it in our little pocket that we've made to make it a nice stiff bookmark. You can just sort of eye it and see about how wide you're going to need it and then cut a piece a plastic that's going to fit in there. Then you just slide it right into it. If you round the corners a little bit like this it should slide in there a little bit more easily. Just slide that right in and it makes a really nice unique bookmark. I'll show you another one have. They make such pretty ribbons now a days. This is with a nice golden ribbon. Nice elegant looking bookmark. Another trick if you want to make a nice wide one, I have this wide ribbon here. You can sew 2 ribbons together and use that and get a really nice wide elegant bookmark. "
