Now I'll show you how to laminate our personalized favorite people, places and pets bookmarks. We made them out of cardstock. If you're fortunate enough to have a laminater, then you can get the laminating sheets in any office supplies store. But otherwise, you can usually get laminating done in one of those mailbox stores or in an office supplies store, sometimes they'll do laminating. Just ask around, you'd be surprised who does laminating. This is a laminating sheet, and it comes like this. It's two sheets that are attached at the top, and if you're going to go have it laminated in an office store or a mailbox place, make sure you make enough bookmarks to flll a page. This page is taking five bookmarks. And when you lay it on the sheet you want to make sure that there is laminating sheet all the way around, and that there is enough space between each bookmark to be able to cut them apart later and leave about an eighth of an inch around each bookmark. So, you want to make sure you place that very carefully on the laminating sheet, and then close the laminating sheet. Sometimes they will shift while you're closing it, so you want to be very careful and recheck, because they're not glued down in there, they're just sitting on the laminating sheet. And then the sheets come with a little two piece paper protector that you're going to put through the machine, and it's also attached at the top. And you just slide your laminating sheet carefully into the paper protector. You want to make sure the laminating sheet is comepletely enclosed, and always check to make sure your bookmarks are not moving. Now you want to very carefully, without letting anything shift, we're going to put that gently into the laminater. The laminater is simply a roller that will pull the card and the sheet right through, and it heats, it rolls and heats and melts the laminating sheets onto your cardstock bookmarks. Ok, and this is what it looks like when it's finished. It's rather hot when it comes out of the laminater. And, as you can see, it's nicely stuck together. And then we'll just take the paper cutter, or you can use scissors, and cut those apart as neatly as possible.
