"Hi! I'm Karen for Expert Village. Let’s start with a bookmark of my favorite people. We're going to use a cardstock. The best thickness seems to be between 2 and 2 1/4 inches. This is an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of cardstock, so our bookmark will be 8 inches long. You can make the bookmark any size that you like. I'm going to cut it with a paper cutter. I'll just line that up to the 2 1/4 inch mark and cut that down. As you see, the paper cutter makes a really nice cut. Then you want some photos of your favorite people. I'm going to just cut out the faces. Each of the photos is a little different. I'm going to just take my scissors and not being too fussy, just cut out the faces because that's what's important. Just lay them on your card and later you'll decide what's the best layout just by looking and seeing. You can choose to just decorate with stickers like this one I made of my son. I put just sports stickers on it that he would like. For this, I think I'll decorate it with my gel pens. I'm going to just arrange it the way you like it. Now, when you use a gel pen, it's a good idea to have a scrap piece of paper so that you can check to make sure the gel pen is working properly and not gloopey. I'll show you some easy decorations that you can do that'll look special and you don't have to be an artist."
