"Hi I'm Karen for Expert Village. Now I'll show you how to end a piece with a knot or a bead you can end you piece with a knot or a bead for a knot ending take all the strands and tie it with a figure eight knot like this. See the Eight shape put it through there see the figure eight shape then just slide the knot as close to the piece as possible and pull it nice and tight like that then you'll just trim off the excess string and the knot will slip through the loop it's got a little fuzzy end there the know will slip through the loop like that. For a bead ending put the bead on all strands first trim the strands so that they are all even and then bring them together now if you want you can rub them with a little bit of bees wax like this, and that will make it nice and stiff and you can stick a bead on it like that. Sometimes a twisting motion if there's a lot of strings to get that bead on helps to do a little bit of a twisting motion you put the bead all the way on and then just make a simple know like this and pull that know down as close as you can to the bead and pull it very tight and then trim off the excess and then you can slip that bead also through the loop like that and that's a good ending. I'll show you one with the finer waxed hemp thread that 's already completed and the loop is a little bit small for the bead but you just pull it on over like that and there you have a nice ending. Now if you want to wear the piece all the time or if you want to wear it for the summer like for a beach comer bracelet just simple take the ends of the strands and slip half of them through the loop and we are going to make a square knot or double knot and you do that by going right over left and left over right like this and like that and you see the square knot there pull tight and then trim off your ends. Those are the basic endings for our bracelets"
