"Hi, I'm Karen for Expert Village. Now I'm going to show you to make the pattern for the clothing and the bear. You would need two pieces of eight and a half by eleven (8 1/2 X 11) paper. For the clothing and the blanket we would take one eight in half by eleven paper and measure from one edge three inches. Just measure and draw a line like that. Then I'm going to fold the paper on that line and cut off that three inch piece. Okay let's discard that. Now I"m going to measure from the top two inches and again I'm going to fold that going through the lines that I have marked. We would leave that on that is just going to mark where we are going to cut one piece of fabric. Then we are going to fold down the corners like this. So that is our pattern for the dress and for the bedding. Now the bear pattern is going to be more complicated. I'm going to give you a set of marking points and then you would draw the bear pattern out. First, we want to take our eight in half by eleven paper and fold it into quarters. So match up the corners and crease it. Again match up the corners and crease it. Hold the paper like this with the fold on this side and the fold on the bottom. Then the open edge like that. Our first measurement is going to be one and a quarter inches. Then just draw a very light line in about one and a quarter inches. Then measure from the side two and a half inches. You are going to put the dot right where those measurements entersect. "
