How to Attach Pouch to Hobby Horse Stick

"Hi. I'm Karen for Expert Village. I'm going to take some stuffing and stuff my little pocket. And you want to stuff that fairly firm. Couple wads of, of fabric in there. Leave your needle on the thread. Don't take that off yet. And pull tight. We're going to just stick it on the end, putting the stick in the center of the stuffing and pull that tight. Now this is where the groove comes in. You're going to put the thread in the groove pulling that tight. And your needle is still attached to the thread so grab some fabric with the needle and pull that tight. And then go in the groove again, go around half way, come out on the other side and grab more fabric with the needle. And go around. We're just securing. You keep the thread in the groove and then come out and grab with the needle some of the fabric. Pulling it nice and tight and then going in the groove again. Going around, grabbing more fabric. You just keep doing this until you feel like you've got it good and secure on the end there. And then wrap it around a few times keeping the thread in the groove. And then before you run out of thread you're going to knot it. Just grab a little bit of the fabric. Go in and out a few times and then make a good secure knot. Like that. cut the needle off and you've got a good safety cover there so that nobody will get hurt from the end of the stick. That's on there nice and tight. Okay, next we'll attach the head onto our stick."
