"Hi, I'm Karen for Expert Village. Okay, now I'm going to show you how to make a little safety padding for the end of our stick, so that when we stuff the stick into the horse, it won't shift over time, and poke out through the horse. We're going to put a nice piece of padding on that. So, you want to start with just a rough cut, about a six in diameter circle. That's a six inch diameter circle, of any kind of fabric. I'm just using a bit of our fleecy fabric. You can really use any kind of fabric for this. And then you want to thread your needle with a good strong utility thread, a carpet thread or a upholstery thread. You want a really strong thread, not just a regular thread. You want a strong heavy duty thread. They sell a heavy duty thread in the stores, actually says "heavy duty". And we're going to sew along the outside of our circle. You can just go in and out every half inch, like this. Go all the way around the circle, very rough. This is for inside of the horse's head, you're not going to see it. So neatness does not count here. You can rough cut the circle and just very roughly sew it all the way around. Just a quick in and out, this is to gather it. I'm sewing about a little bit more than a quarter an inch from the edge of our six inch circle. And just back and forth on the needle. See as I pull it, it gathers up. And we're making just a little bit of a cover to put over the end of the stick, to make that safe when my kids are playing with it. So that it shouldn't be hard or poke through the horse's head. Pull out like that. Now, I have both ends of the string, this is coming out where this went in. And it makes, if you pull them tight, it makes like a little bit of a pocket."
