"Now that we've covered the entire surface and sides with grout, now we're going to start removing the excess grout. You can simply take your hands and wipe away and smooth the grout. Trying to get that smooth and working around. You don't want to dig out any of the grout that you've put in. You don't want to dig out from in between the tiles. You just want to kind of smooth it and remove any grout that's on top of the tiles. Okay, you can use a damp sponge. You don't want a wet sponge. So you can wet it and really squeeze out all the water and then very gently, you don't want to use a wet sponge, very gently wipe. And that will also smooth the grout and clean off the tiles. Okay, work your way around the piece like this. When there's a lot of grout like this, you'll just take your finger, hand and wipe it off and then go back with the damp sponge. Okay, you want to get into the fingers here all around, make sure that there's grout all around it. And then you can use your finger to smooth. We'll give the hand a little bit of a manicure here. Just use the sponge, remember the sponge is just damp, not wet at all. Just to clean off the individual pieces of mosaic, and smooth the grout in between them without removing the grout, without making it wet. And when you see spots that are missing a little grout or if you see a hole, you just take a little bit more of wet grout, don't grab a piece of, don't grab any dry grout, get a little bit of wet grout and push that in. You want to check over your whole piece and make sure that you haven't missed any little holes and crevices. So you want to make sure you turn it around and inspect it from all angles. Then continue cleaning it up, and you want to let this dry overnight and then we'll polish it and complete the cleaning of the mosaic hand. Okay, now you want to clean around the heart shape, and you just take your sponge and just very evenly go around. Make sure that there's no lip of grout going up, that it's nice and even all the way around. You want to turn the piece over and if you've gotten any grout on the back just scrape that off. Then you can with your damp sponge, wipe that down a little bit to get some of the excess grout off because we will be painting the back and we don't want the grout to interfere with the paint."
