Making a Pattern for a Mosaic Mirror

"We'll start our mosaic hand mirror by making a pattern to cut our base wood. Now you want to start with a sheet of paper thats as long a sheet board that you will be cutting it from and I am going to trace my hand. You can trace any bodes hand that you want and I will start by tracing my hand to get a good hand shape. And you just want the hand down to the wrist like that. Now you want to kind of look for the center and where you would put the handled for your hand mirror around there and then fold that in half on that line. So usually right down the middle finger there is good and then you can cut a handle. Making it starting it out a little bit wide on the bottom a little bulbous on the bottom and narrower here and then coming in to the hand. Like that, open it up after you do the handle and then finish cutting along your trace lines and adjust, adjust your cut until you happy with the shape of you pattern. After you finish your pattern you'll trace it on to your board and this can be cut with a jig saw or you can take it to a limber yard to have that cut."
