"Hi I'm Karen for Expert Village. Now we are going to attach the top of the bag. We have our bag all made with the bottom attached and the bottom of the long zipper is attached to the bottom of the bag here. We want to attach the trapezoid shape to the top of the bag. So you want to lay the bag down like this with the zipper up. We are going to unzip the small zipper so we can see what we are doing. First I want to mark the center of the front of the bag. So if you put the two pieces together, the two zippers together and fold the bag in half. With a crayon or a pin you can just put a pin like that, mark the center of the bag. So I marked it with a crayon and you also want to mark the center of the top piece in the same way. Fold it in half, you could either place a pin in there or just take a crayon and mark that fold. So now we want to place, you want to take hold of the long zipper and just run your hand along it. Fold it back into the bag, this is to make sure that the zipper is not going to be twisted over in there. So you want to pull it out. Start at the very bottom and run your hand along it making sure that it stays flat and just pull the top into place. Like this. You are going to match up those centers here is our center mark and our center mark here. Place a pin right there on the center mark. Now this zipper can be tucked in there and out of our way. Now take the top the small zipper sections and we are going to pin them on either side of our center mark. Like that through all the thickness. So we are catching the bottom of the bag and the top piece and the front zipper all together. Make sure you match up the teeth evenly and that when the zipper is closed it will together nice and tight. So you're just going to pin that in place the way you want to sew it on there. So now you have sandwich in here. The bag is folded in half side ways and that top piece is sandwich in between. "
