"Now I'll show you how to cut the fringe on our fleece poncho. I've drawn this guide and we'll start at the corner because that's the most difficult parts. O.k., to cut the corner, just move your ties out of the way and as you see on the corner there's going to be a longer diagonal cut here. The rest of the cuts are straight up to the edge. So, you're going to start with the diagonal cut and ease around until you're going straight and this, the final fringe is two and a half inches long. Or, just cut right up to, not to close to your decorative weave, just about a half inch below that. O.k., so to start the corner you want to come about an inch away from the tip of the corner and cut to about where your tie is. Now again, this is not a precise thing. The fleece is very forgiving. And, you don't have to cut it exactly perfectly. Now, another inch over and a little bit less of our diagonal and you cut about this far; about a half inch away from your trim. Make sure that you are not cutting your fringe too thin here. You want it to be at least a half inch at the end because you don't want it to be a weak fringe. Now, again about an inch from there and see how our cut is straightening out. And by the time we get here we're going to switch to a three-quarter inch wide fringe and we should be cutting fairly straight or perpendicular to the edge of the fabric. Continue that fringe cut all the way along the edge of the poncho."
