"Hi I'm Karen for Expert Village. Now we are going to press our pocket and our pocket flap. You want to turn in the seam allowance at the opening where we turn the pocket out. Just turn it in so it is even and press that nice and flat. That would make it much easier to sew if it has been prepressed and do the same thing for the pocket flap. Just find the opening and turn it in the seam, seam allowance so it goes straight across and press the whole pocket flap nice and flat. Now let's go to the sewing machine and we would quilt our pocket and our pocket flap. Now we would quilt our pocket sections and put a little Velcro closure on our pocket. So I'm going to start with the main pocket section. I'm going to sew the cross section a quarter inch on the edge, this would close our opening where we press the seam allowance and beginning the quilting. So always start by backing up a little and knot the threads and just make sure that you catch, make sure that you catch the seam allowance on that opening area. We would go all the way around putting the needle in and pivoting around the corners. Then I'm just going to again to sort of crazy back and forth quilting. (sewing)"
