"These are the materials we'll be using to make our Grandmother for our Little Red Riding Hood puppets. You want to use a felt, a colored felt, you can choose any color you want, I'm using purple. You want some orange felt for the face and the hands and then another coordinating color felt for a hat and some googly eyes. You want to use a nice thick craft glue. You don't want to use a regular white glue. White glue will soak into the fabric. You want to use something that will sit on top of the fabric. And you'll need some googly eyes. Now we'll start by cutting out our body shape and this is two inches by three inches with a rounded top. And you want to put a nice good bead of glue all along the edge of the bottom piece. Now when the felt gets onto the glue, you just wipe that off, it makes it easier to work with. Now place the top piece onto the bottom piece, making sure that you don't get any glue on the center area because you'll need to put your finger in there, you don't want it to be glued together. Next you'll cut a circle that's about one and a half, one and a quarter inch round and you'll place the circle that's for the face. And you can draw a little Grandma face on there. When you're drawing a face, you want to start the eyes at about one third down from the top of the head. That will give you a proper placement of the eyes. You want to go one third down and place the eyes and then put the nose and the mouth underneath. Now you cut a shape like this, something fluffy with a little indent for the Grandma's hat and again, put a bit of glue there and glue on Grandma's hat. Now I've drawn some eyes but I'm going to put googlie eyes in there because they're fun. So I've made some glasses. I drew some glasses with a permanent marker and then I'll add my googlie eyes. Don't worry if there's a little bit too much glue there, it will dry clear, and you'll be able to see the other markings I've made when that dries. And then we'll finish by putting some hands for our Grandma. And you can take a permanent marker and draw some detail in her clothing. And there's Grandma. She's ready to visit with Little Red Riding Hood."
