"Now we'll show you how to make a pirate mask. For the pirate's mask we'll need a base color of orange or a skin color kind of color for the base mask. We'll use some black for the eye patch. You'll need a color for a bandanna on the top; I'm using a blue. And I have some red that I cut some polka dots for, and a little bit of red sequins also for decorating. You'll need a marker or something to draw a little decoration on the face. You'll need your base mask pattern, a little bit of tape to cover the staples, and your black elastic, and a stapler to attach the elastic to the mask. OK, to cut the face pattern for the mask, you're going to use your basic mask pattern. And you follow it all along the bottom, but give it more forehead here. And then the eyes are cut exactly the same. Now, on this base mask, let's put our elastic on first before we do our decorating, because it makes it a little easier. And if you put it pretty much to the side of the head, maybe a little bit above the eyes, that's a good position. But you can check, depending upon who's wearing it and where it's comfortable. OK, and you put, you staple through, right through the fun foam and the elastic. Make sure that it's secure, and then cover that up with some nice, soft, sticky tape so that it won't be scratching the wearer. And then attach the other side. I've already measured this elastic to make sure that it will fit the wearer. OK, and that's good and secure. OK, now we're ready to decorate our pirate mask. "
